Terms & Conditions

The fine print, in plain English.

By booking an appointment with SE PDX Pressure Washing, you agree to the following terms. Last updated May 2026.

1Your estimate is not binding.

The online estimate is based on the information you provided (square footage, surface type, moss level). If the actual scope of work is different when I arrive — more square footage, heavier moss, a different surface — I'll talk with you about the difference before doing any work. You can always decline at no charge.

2Final price is approved the day of work.

Before I begin, I'll confirm the final price with you in person. Work doesn't start until you've approved.

3Liability and insurance.

SE PDX Pressure Washing is operated by a 15-year-old with parent oversight. It is not a licensed or insured commercial contractor.

By booking, the customer accepts all liability for any damage to property, plants, fixtures, or finishes resulting from pressure washing. The customer is responsible for moving or protecting fragile items (decorations, planters, light fixtures, screens, outdoor electronics, etc.) before my arrival.

Pressure washing carries inherent risks: loose paint may come off, wood may splinter, and prior damage (hairline cracks, weak grout, deteriorated sealer) may be revealed or exposed. This is normal and expected. The customer's maximum recovery for any claim is limited to the amount paid for the service.

4Payment.

Payment is due upon completion of the job. Accepted: Venmo (preferred), Apple Cash, or cash. Credit cards are not accepted.

5Water access.

The customer provides access to an outdoor water spigot in good working order. If the spigot doesn't work or isn't accessible on arrival, the appointment will be rescheduled and a $20 trip fee may apply.

6Cancellation and rescheduling.

24 hours' notice is appreciated for cancellations or reschedules — no charge. Same-day cancellations may be charged a $20 trip fee if I've already arrived or left for the appointment. Reschedules due to weather are at my discretion; I'll text you the morning of with options.

7Right to decline unsafe surfaces.

I reserve the right to decline pressure washing any surface I judge to be unsafe — including rotting wood, brick with loose mortar, fragile or peeling painted surfaces, or anything else where pressure washing would likely cause damage. No charge if I decline at arrival.

8On-site arrangements.

An adult must be home or reachable by phone during the appointment. Pets should stay inside while I work (loud equipment, water everywhere). The customer confirms they're the property owner or have permission from the owner to authorize this work.

9Photos for portfolio.

I may take before/after photos of the cleaned surfaces for my records and portfolio. Photos will not include your name, address, or any personal information. If you'd prefer I don't take photos, just mention it in your booking notes.

10Service area.

I primarily serve SE Portland neighborhoods (where I can bike). For jobs outside that range, a small travel fee applies, and a parent must be available to drive me to the appointment.
